Keep Out

My seccond oil painting, again based on concealment. In this case I see the figure as hiding from the world, curling up protecting their feelings. I am trying to make my painting more expressive, and am trying out different pallettes - hence the green.
I cannot believe how utterly impossible it is to get a photograph to look anything like the original painting. I've tweaked this and it is as good as I can get it - alas - not very good.
The title? I guess it's a comment on how easy it is to keep people out. We generally never go through a door with a 'keep out' sign on.
